Okay, I might have lied. I’m leaning more towards Akashik being more 3D than not after all – because I confess I’ve worked hard to come up with some serious toon render abilities and I was going through that today… realizing it would help out a lot. Also I did a couple of animations for Heavenly Bride but Akashik was originally meant for animation.
So here I am working on how the backgrounds render, because you don’t want your background to overpower the foreground unless necessary.
Stuff has been happening, partly in thanks to not having a lot of work right now.
Not making any promises, but it looks like I’ll be able to do more than get props soon. I’m not saying how soon – the biggest thing that’s holding me back are the nagas. I have two possible solutions. If I had someone who could rig in blender the more desireable option would be better, but it’s just me so I’m taking what I can get.
In any case I’m going to try to put out a comic update once in a while of progress rather than just an image. Yep. I’ve gotten that far. Please feel free to participate in the comments section.
